Mike Super makes prediction for Oct. 14
Can Mike Super really predict the news? That’s the question that will be answered on Tuesday, Oct. 14 when magician Mike Super will be in Hazard to proudly grin or be embarrassed about predicting what will be the headline in the Lexington Herald newspaper that day.
He already has made the prediction, recorded it on a cassette tape, sent it FedEx to HCTC. Then Hazard Police Chief Ronnie Bryant brought it to Peoples Bank and Trust and the tape is in a lock box. Only Chief Bryant has the key.

If his prediction is wrong, he will refund to every person that purchases tickets in advance the cost of their admission, so they will be able to see the show for free. The prediction will be revealed at the student matinee performance that is being held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at The Forum. In addition to the student audience being able to witness the actual revealing of the headline prediction, Mike Super will provide slight-of-hand instruction and will have a question and answer session. The program is appropriate for all ages and the cost is $2 per student.

Mike’s show is more than just illusions. It is a gateway for your
imagination, a totally INTERACTIVE magic experience. THE AUDIENCE LITERALLY
TAKES PART IN THE SHOW FIRST HAND!, Mike will make an audience member
levitate four and a half feet off the ground with absolutely no connections
of any kind. He will control the elements and make it snow from his bare
hands. Mike will physically fold a spectator so small they fit into a
Japanese show box! He breathes life into a piece of paper and it actually
dances in a total stranger’s hands. Mike will restore that long forgotten
child-like wonder that anything is possible. Throughout the performance,
Mike takes the audience on a rollercoaster ride. There’s laughter, intrigue,
fear, anticipation, tears, and sentimentality. People leave the event
knowing more about Mike and themselves. The audience will also take with
them a new appreciation and attitude toward the art form of magic.
